The big N club- members only.
In about 50 days, the entire earth will watch the World Cup 2006, in Germany. I will be following Group F. Not only just to watch the favourite, Brazil(1st), but to watch the underdog, Socceroos of Australia. Ranked a lowly 44th, they are also matched against, Japan(18th) and Croatia(19th). Australia, was captivated by the plucky team, as they qualified in dramatic fashion just a few months ago. If we can even win one game it will be a great, and with some magic we may advance to the next round.... I did say magic. So get behind the team!
I always love a placenta story. Now that freaky weird fella, Tom Cruise, is in the midst of a furor, claiming he ate the placenta, after the silent birth. In some circles the placenta is supposed to be a legitimate way of combating post natal depression. The Mission Impossible star, who is a devout scientologist, evidently has a big appetite. It should also be noted, he was only joking, but the commment got taken out of context, and reported as the real mc coy. He is not the first to dabble in placenta treats. Rod Stewart and Penny, allegedly, took their placenta home, sprinkled it with tea tree oil and buried it in the garden. Now hold on to your lunch. In 1998, a tv host allegedly, fried a placenta with green onions and garlic, then serving it to 20 guests. Wonderful.
Oil, has reached 71 dollars per barrel, they say, because of the tense situation with Iran. I ask you, should Iran be left alone, to do what it wants with nuclear power? Why should they be singled out, and be persecuted because they desire to join the big N club? What do you think? Are they a danger to the rest of the world because of their ambitions? Are they, as I take the words out of Psam's mouth just as likely to harm people as the United States? Subject 2. Have the US done thousands of Kurds a favour by stopping that man, Saddam. It is now revealed he did sign the documents authorizing the slaughter of innocents in a Shia village. Interesting pickie of him eh.
What do ya reckon?

The US does not want to have their military go out of practice, so they find reasons to get wars going. America's stance on Iran's nuclear program is a way to begin getting their citizens to support a military foray into Iran now that support for the Iraq war is dying because everybody's finally realized that it was a stupid idea in the first place, just like invading Iran will be. People that support these kind of military actions must love seeing innocent people die.
As far as Saddam goes, YES HE WAS A BAD GUY! He was right up there with two of the other terrorists in today's world: George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden. If you don't believe Bush is a terrorist, just talk to any Iraqis who've been in Baghdad while American rockets were being fired at the city, blowing up buildings. Guess what! They were terrified! That's what terrorists do to people! Terrorize them by blowing things up around them.
Osama and George have some very key things in common. They both quite justifiably feel that their people have been badly wronged, and they both feel that it is entirely acceptable if many innocent people die while they are avenging their people that have been wronged. Ladies and gentlemen, that is terrorism, and Bush is no more or less guilty than bin Laden.
I'm so glad for the comic relief in this latest entry. Placenta stories are GREAT. Especially with rice! I heard swiss cheese just doesn't go, whereas cheddar can come and save the day! Placentas are good eatin' folks. Oh yeah, mushrooms, onions, and some cotton pickin' worcestershire sauce. If you miss your chance to try it, you'll never forgive yourself.
chanks, I have no comment about the soccer, but if I stay tuned to your site for a while, I hope as things progress I learn enough to have a comment about it. I simply have never had the opportunity to learn about it.
Okay well yer all awesome, even those that keep trashing me, but please check out my latest comments in the last two blog entries or I'll miss out on some more well-deserved abuse.
Psam, Psam, Psam......
Such ridiculus statements! George Bush a terrorist. Okay maybe the guy has made some poor decisions but he is not a terrorist to the Iraqis people. Bombs are flying over their heads of course they are scared. They were scared before the bombs started flying and they are scared after the bombs stopped flying, but it's not Mr Bush that they are afraid of. Unless it's george who is planting the car bombs and digging mass graves. A terrorist strikes without warning, car bombs, train bombs, plane bombs. Terrorist attack innocent people, Bush has attacked an army and military installations. There have been an oops here and there but they were not deliberate. That is a huge difference. Iran. Forget what bush thinks of Iran, the whole world is freaking out over iran except for china of course who gets there oil from them and aren't too concerned about human rights. (is that a run on sentence?) Psam you are a good guy but I fear that you are taking your freedom for granted. We have to protect our freedom and sometimes that means war. If we don't take out iran's new and violent leader he is going to nuke tim hortons. That would make krispy kreames wouldn't it? Can you imagine canada's responce to that, it would compare to pearl harbour. Chanks, I, like psam have no clue about soccer. Keep us posted.
So finally I have taken some time to consider what you have written Chanks and to organize my thoughts.
While in a perfect world it would be wonderful for us to be able to dictate what the world can and can not do, to be the dominate force, since we are the western world. But really where has that gotten the western world thus far?? Does 9/11 ring a bell??
What really gives us the right to tell them what they can and can not do in their back yard? I mean does my mother in law have the right to tell me what to do in my house? Afterall I am raising her grandkids, a direct reflection of her?
Alright so the Prime Minister of Iran has said what the purpose of them is,, others have nuclear weapons and just hold them quiet and lie about them, at least he's being honest about it.....Yes the potetial to be detrimental is there, yes it can affect the world.....but who do you trust? Ultimately there is only ONE who is deserving of my trust, only One is consistent and true.....
Really the only right we have is to protect ourselves.
Bench was right. It is not just america who is worked up. The whole world is worked up about iran. All the terrorists involved in 9/11 were of middle eastern persuasion. If al quida can infiltrate iran, or manipulate the gov't... two world trade towers would be a SMALL thing compared with what could be done with a nuke or two.
You believe that there is no malevolent force in the US government that willfully perpetrates harm against other people and then YOU accuse ME of being naive?! I suggest you take your trust in the US government with a grain of salt. Granted, there are people in any group that have benevolent intentions, so therefore I'm sure there are people in the American administration who are trying to produce less destructive results. However, the American government is the most powerful government in the world and they are SMART enough and POWERFUL enough to solve these problems with far less destruction. Due to the influence of greedy, malevolent forces in their government, they CHOOSE not to. Have you not heard about the affiliation that the Bush family has with the bin Laden family?
Because of the amount of power that the American government has, they not only have the power to exercise over the world at large but also over YOUR MIND through their manipulation of the media. Don't just let them treat your intelligence like a little rag doll. Question them a bit. Don't take everything they feed you in their regurgitated media fodder and swallow it like the fast food they pack their restaurants with. The American government is looking after the greed of their nation at the expense of innocent lives, and they are well aware of it. Don't be naive enough to think otherwise. I would be just as stupid to think that just because of a corrupt government in the US, their innocent people deserved to die in 911.
Being manipulated by the media works both ways. In the states it's pro american. Outside the U.S. it's anti american. It's seems it's the cool thing to do these days, Bash the americans. I don't want to be maniputed one way or the other. Americans in iraq for oil, sorry I don't buy. There are alot easy and cheaper ways to get oil. Did you know canada has more oil reserves then iraq? America has spent way more money on this war with iraq then they will ever get back in oil. Now if you were to tell me that they went into iraq because they were worried about iran, that's something I could consider. I'm not saying the oil in iraq isn't a bonus, but it isn't the only reason the americans are over there. I think Bush has made some huge mistakes, and yes the man has an agenda but I would not call him a terrorist!
