Red Neck News

Many of you know me as Giggles, but all I really am is a Redneck living in the Mountains of BC. I dont bother myself much with Government or Politics, and the only Debate I involve myself with is this blog. On the other hand I am really getting sick of the constant rise of the price of Gas.(or for you blokes down under PETROL) I hear of all these alternate energy solutions and cant figure out why they are not more redily accesible to the Consumer.

In preparing to make this blog I googled Electric cars and it was interesting to see what I came up with. There is a movie comming up called "Who killed the Electic Car" and I invite you to view the trailer at www.sonyclassics.com/whokilledtheelectriccar/ .

This movie brings to light the power of the Oil Companies and the profits that stand to be made with High Priced Oil. The Phenomenon of Electric cars is starting to pick up pace, but if Oil is no longer required, billion dollar industries are going to go belly up.

I heard that Ford has promised to make all of their models available in Hybrid by 2010, and you see many makes and models from other automaker. The problem is how do you make an electric vehicle that a redneck like me will drive, and secondly will it come standard with a gun rack.

I want to be able to have a full size 4x4 truck (ute) that has a Canadian Tire Solar Panel in the window that gets me where I want to go and not cost me a thing. Is that too much to ask from these automakers. The first company that makes me my dream truck has my buisiness.

Check this link out. http://trucks.about.com/cs/concepttrucks/a/toyota_ftx.htm
Toyota has some hybrid trucks. I don't know if they are released yet, but it might be a good idea to check. Petrol is 1.43 per litre here. Stoopid

Giggles,
Don't make the same mistake your father claims to have made for many years. Don't underestimate your own intelligence and talent.
I'll just reprint what you said: "I dont bother myself much with Government or Politics, and the only Debate I involve myself with is this blog." and let you know that the more you do involve yourself with debates and progressive knowledge, the more you contribute to the world as a place where people live together happily and peacefully.
There have been times and places where people have been treated horribly by the societies they live in. This idea of democracy is a meager attempt at eradicating this problem, but it only works if people communicate with each other on a large scale and keep in touch with how everybody else is doing. You have shown from what you've written here that you are a contributor to people's knowledge and that you have ideas to relieve some of the problems in the world. Be proud of this. There are lots of smart rednecks, and lots of dumb politicians.
Wow, why can't I just can't make a short entry here. Maybe some day...
Seesiers, it's good seeing your face.

Hey Giggles:

Awesome blog. That picture of you coming out of the swamp reminds me of what we have evolved into. REAL MEN

Sick of the rise in the price of Gas? How about the rise in the price of War? If we spent an equal amount of money on peace as we spent on war then we might have some user friendly vehicles.

I think we have just had our attention diverted from developing some alternative to the automobile motor and we are being distracted by the "War on Terror".

IF ONLY WE HAD AN ANTI GRAVITY DEVICE TYPE VEHICLE. Think about it. No more roads. No more stop signs. No more borders. We could go anywhere anytime. Hey we could even transport our own house to an idylic place anywhere in any country and LIVE IN PEACE.

That would be a picture of nirvana to the people, but it would only be chaos to our controllers.

"A dream Electric Truck?" I don't think so. Next time you are stuck in snow or mud up to your wheel hubs and out of gas what would you do if you had to hike out and get some "electricity"

Don't put yourself down as "all I really am is a redneck" One person with an idea could change the world.

I feel we are at the dawn of some kind of a revolution kind of like what happened when cars replaced horses. Maybe they think they killed the electric car. I think there are too many individuals out there that won't let it die.

Hey Gregorski
Just remember that in North America you have to put the solar panel on the south side of your vehicle. On the the other hand, Chanks, you must have your solar panel constructed on the north side of your vehicle. Good advice like this will always come in handy.
As for you, Psam! What is this, and I quote, "if people communicate with each other on a large scale and keep in touch", how about it???
Yours, as ever.

I don't get it Sam

What mistake did I claim to make?

Like George Bush once said.

"Make no Mistake" we willlll... something or other. Next thing you know there is WW3 on the go.

Ignorance is bliss.

Silence is golden

whatever.......

You know that I don't know what I don't know because you think you know what I don't know, but you don't really know what I know.

How is that for a come back?

Thinking inside the box.
Keeping inside the circle.
Square Peg in Square hole.
Freedom is just another word.

whatever.....

do you catch my drift?

where was I?

oh ya, I was looking for a life..............

dost toast

Hey Giggles,

Noone can afford those electic cars. I think the government controls that too so the only thing we can afford are gas guzzlers. Just came home from conv. so am too tired to research and I am back to the grounds in the morning. Still sounds good though.
