And the spoils belong to the victor. I think naming your new child, victor would be a great idea. Yes you are pregnant, siesiers, Bench, tara and AV..... me? who are u? Thanks for your help in the delivery room.

Briefly, I wonder about this so called raid, which rescued these civilian hostages. I would suggest that some reports are flawed. An anonymous tip off led to this pick up. No dramatic rescue.... the terrorists were simply finished. Fortunately not all were killed.

Zimbabwe. Yes Afrika again. A country that has such natural beauty, endless sunsets, beautiful game...... but has been raped because of one old man trying to hold onto power. Please follow this link, and then decide if you want to follow their links.... I concur. Absolute power does corrupt. Now follow the elephant....http://www.gal.co.za/newsitem.php?id=509 .... after reading below.

Aah. The orange revolution. Ukraine. The western embracing hero, poisoned, allegedly, by nefarious agents disfiguring his face. Viktor Yushchenko,(pictured above right) declaring the vote was rigged, encouraged the people to take to the streets. And they did. Re election. This time, scarred face and all, Viktor was the victor. Wow, what a difference one year makes. Today, Yushchenko will be supplanted by his chief rival, (Yanukovych pictured left) and also his former ally.(Yulia Tymoshenko pictured middle) It will be an interesting exercise in democracy. What will probably play out though, is a coalition government, if, and only if, the former "orange allies" form a partership.

Last. Indian culture generally favours boys over girls. Female foeticide has been going on for years and only as recently as 1994 has the government seriously fought against gender selection. It seems they have now gone step further, by placing pregnant women as decoy patients. For the first time a doctor and his assistant have been sent to prison for revealing the sex of a foetus and then agreeing to abort it. Estimates state, that 10 million female births have been aborted since 1986..... Is it possible to change public perception with such a ruling? Or will it just make it a little harder to continue this practice?

I believe the Captain is unlucky this time. Things are not always what they seem... right?
Chanks.

Regarding the comments on the unborn females. I was talking to one of my nieces yesterday about how much we have learned from my dad, her grandfather. It amazes me what has been instilled in us through the generations. I would be hard pressed to change what I know and believe to be right. I think your question has been answered!!

If you've ever known any Muslims personally that you greatly admired, then you would be asking yourself the question right now, "How do we take all the great things about Islam that have helped give people's lives direction, happiness, and culture, keep those, and then get rid of the aspects of the religion that cause such senseless wasteful degrading actions as aborting female fetuses?" Every religion has powers of destruction and powers of healing. Personally I would like it if everybody in the world would renounce faith to a single religion and accept them all instead, but it's not easy to expect that of people, because people who follow the same religion they were taught when growing up remain involved with it as a way of staying loyal to family and friends, and they see other religions as a threat to their personal culture. They actually believe that there's something "correct" about their own religion and something "incorrect" about others. It's mindboggling, and as a logical person who listens to everybody equally I have a difficult time understanding how they can allow themselves to think this way and maintain this elitist notion, and yet my problem is whenever I talk to a religious person one on one, I ADMIRE them SO much for their devotion and community, in fact I love them. This makes it difficult for me to know how the world is ever going to deal with the problem of conflicting relgions causing war and chaos. Ever had two really good friends that you really liked but they hated each other and you didn't know how to handle it?
So now back to the original question that I let myself get a little sidetracked from: are you capable of hearing that Islam commits what some consider to be an atrocity: female infanticide; and still believe in the good aspects of the religion and still respect the people you meet who follow it? Every person that answers yes to this question is capable of developing a friendly personal relationship with a Muslim and then perhaps asking their honest answer to the question of whether this is an acceptable world behaviour. Hopefully just asking them the question respectfully will get them to see that there is an atrocity being commited here and to do something to stop it from happening. There is no other way to get them to see that then by being respectful to them and asking them to please consider their actions. I've heard the expression "carpet bomb the middle east" before. That is even more of a destructive and abominably shameful act than the infanticide that is being persecuted. Very sad.

Do you think the cultures that find it acceptable to abort female fetus's have thought about the long term effects of such a decision. Do you think they realize that by doing this there is the potential to totally destroy their race, their beliefs, their values, and their culture? Have they looked beyond what today has to offer to see what potential tomorrow has? As our past so effects our future......

Johnny is asking for money so he can expose politicians who are raping Zimbabwe's heritage. It sounds like Johnny may be a disgruntled cropper. Is he losing control?
