Yeah, and Kennedy was killed by the Mafia too.

My thoughts are on Castro. Yes, the 80 year old ruler of that nation of Cuba. In recent years his popularity has seemed to rise. Why? Well he does seem to be a cool old dictator kind of guy. He has ruled with an anti US style, but not such a confrontational one like that fella, Chavez.
The question.

Is he really alive?

Theorists feel that he did in fact pass away after his much publicized operation this week, contrary to many news reports. Reputable news agencies say he is recovering and is well.

Now enter the bloggers.

A posted photo of him reading yesterday's newspaper looks pretty genuine. Now let us look a little closer. I couldn't tell you with authority and will provide the link below, but his face is a younger and more virile one than in the past couple of months. The track suit he is wearing is exactly the same as the one in which he met Jimmy Carter in 2002. C'mon, let's hope he has a couple changes of clothes here. The newspaper he is purported to be holding is in fact a "proof copy" and not the real mc coy. These copies can be published weeks before the actual paper is published. Lastly, if you look closely you will see clearly, the outline of a staple in the left side. Newspapers do NOT have staples in them. Kind a makes ya wonder. Hmm.

Finally, this post is not to get embroiled within a debate in which we have a pro-alive castro and a anti-dead castro, and a dying castro or a pro whaling debate, or a kiss me chavez case. It is simply to say, question your press. Question your local media. Are they responsible? Are they being duped? Are they checking their sources and protecting the integrity of what they display to the world?

Tara, you passed on a link the other day. Thanks for that. Literally fell on your lap eh. Great. I saw a picture today in the New York Times. It showed a bombed out Beirut neighbourhood. An old man was walking down the street. In a dusty dirty environment there was a clean looking man, with no dust and no creases in his clothes smoking a ciggie. The questions started in my mind. Are they in yours? I hope so.

Chanks. (where the heck is everyone?)

Oh, and did you like the links provided at the end of the last BS?

My head is full of questions relating to this 'propaganda' that the news stations are trying to tell us.....we're getting a partcial story and we're suppose to take it as fact when it's more like fiction....how is that fair to us. So here we have the news agencies making the stories 'fit' their cause and then we have the governments and they too can't even get it together enough to share with us the 'right' stories

Hey, Eyes is here.

but not for long.....

Just got back from Convention, and then leaving soon. But my first choice of checking the net is always CHANKSLEE.

Love ya.

I think most people are busy enjoying summer. That is where everyone is...... you know.... summer is in August and not December. Gauranteed they will all be back here when the rain starts in September.

In the meantime Mumma and I will be checking out Niagara Falls.

Castro..... I think I heard he was dead. Now he is alive? Who knows?,,, Are we supposed to care?

Oh,ya, by the way, what did I win and are you sure I actually won? I thought I was running quite near last place. Kind of like bring up the rear, you know. Am I allowed to say "REAR" on this blogspot, or will I get it edited out?

I want to know how Targo inserts her picture in the comments section. Does she get a special privilege that the other BS ers don't get?

Loved that link you had on the last one, about the brides wedding night.

That was cute.

Have been at convention too.

This is what came to mind when I checked out the link on the previous BS. It comes from a high school text book from the 1950's.

HOW TO BE A GOOD WIFE!!!

1. Have dinner ready: Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal - on time. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him, and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospects of a good meal are part of the warm welcome needed.

2. Prepare yourself: Take 15 minutes to rest so you will be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your makeup, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting. His boring day may need a lift.

3. Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives, gathering up school books, toys, paper, etc. Then run a dust cloth over the tables. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift, too.

4. Prepare the children: Take a few minutes to wash the children's hands and faces if they are small, comb their hair, and if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part.

5. Minimize the noise: At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of washer, dryer, dishwasher or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet. Be happy to see him. Greet him with a warm smile and be glad to see him.

6. Some Don'ts: Don't greet him with problems or complaints. Don't complain if he's late for dinner. Count this as minor compared with what he might have gone through that day.

7. Make him comfortable: Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest he lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax and unwind.

8. Listen to him: You may have a dozen things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first.

9. Make the evening his: Never complain if he does not take you out to dinner or to other places of entertainment; instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure, his need to be home and relax.

10. The goal: Try to make your home a place of peace and order where your husband can relax.

I WOULD SAY....."ONLY IN HIS DREAMS!"

Oops.....I missed a couple.

A good wife always knows her place.

Never complain if he goes out to dinner or other places of entertainment without you. Remember, a good wifes place is in the home.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Fat chance that will ever happen Spaghett!

Hey, AWESOME, AV. That list of things that a woman can do for her man is great. Sounds like a fairy tale I once read....

I was just reading wirednews and found a list of causes of death:

1. Driving off the road 254,419
2. Falling 146,542
3. Poisoning 140,327
4. Walking down the street 52,000
5. Shot by Law Enforcers 3,949
6. Terrorism 3,147
7. Killed by Sting Ray 1
8. Blogspots dead or dying.....?

OK, I made the last two up.

Makes you thankful you are still alive and not like Castro or Steve Irwin.

Yes, I am back to "reality". Really don't think I know what reality is. I had a real dose of it for 33 years, and I am not ready to go back to it. I am still enjoying my childhood.

That statistic aboug 3,949 people being killed by law enforcement makes me happy too. The reason is that I encountered a law enforcer recently at an airport and thankfully I didn't lose my life, but I almost lost my pants.

Hey, even though Chanks is busy (with the reality thing) maybe we all could keep posting on this "endangered BS" before it dies completely. Think about it. This is Comment 13. If we all keep in touch like this then we could maybe make 100 or so comments over a space of time.

Hey, if we really did a lot of comments maybe this BS would become famous (Like Elvis). You know,,,,, like where is Chankslee?
Where is Psam? Are they still web alive?
